For appointment to the present grade, a candidate must:- (i) have a Bachelors Degree in any of the subsequent fields: International Relations; Law (International Law, International Treaties and Convention, International Trade, Conveyancing); Economics/Business Studies; Development Studies; Linguistics (United Nations Languages- French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian); Political Science; History/Philosophy; Gender Studies; social science and Journalism/Literature from a university recognized in Kenya (ii) possess smart communications skills; and (iii) be results homeward and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

(ii) ending watching and implementation of stock movement and natural resources sharing framework for known ASALs and cross border communities;

(iii) getting ready coaching material and module for peace building and conflict management;

(iv) getting ready and change contacts with government line ministries, global organization agencies national and global organization World Health Organization have an interest in peace and conflict management and support in ASALs counties;

(v) getting ready and maintaining information for conflict risk assessment framework;

(vi) distinguishing potential spots of conflicts in ASALs for entry warning and response; and

(vii) keeping information for county peace stakeholders to facilitate peace building and conflict management in ASALs.
